BIOGRAPHY

Details
I am a passionated nature and wildlife photographer currently based in Finland in the north of Europe. From the very beginning, I was always obsessed from nature and outdoor activities. During my childhood I grow up with the TV shows by David Attenborough, Bernhard Grzimek and Heinz Sielmann.
After school I bought my first DSLR camera and started in photography but mainly in traveling and landscapes. When moving to Finland I remembered my childhood and my interest in wildlife photography raised up. It took a long time untill I saved the money to by my first but pre-owned supertele lens (Canon EF 400 2.8). With that lens I started to get up early in the morning to chase for hares, deers, big birds and moose.

With better equipment and more and more pictures I also invested much time in getting better on image post processing.

From 2018 I started my first trips around Finland to take photographs of bears, wolves, wolverines and eagles. What I most like is the feeling being outdoors before sunrise and waiting for the animals to come. You never now if something will happen, I spend many hours or even days without taking any picture. But if a wild bear, wolf or eagle suddenly shows up your hearts starts beating like a drum and there is nothing more exciting than that feeling.
