Day 5 - In the swamp

On the second day with Martinselkonen we decided to spend the evening and the night in the swamp. As on the day before in the forest, the hide was clean and cosy and we got a backpack with snacks and hot beverages for the night. Well prepared for what ever will come :-).

After we set up the cameras and unpacking the sleeping backs for the night it didn't take much time until the bears showed up. We got lots of images and footage and I was pretty happy with what we got.

As a tip: The best time in the swamp are the summer months when the cotton grass is flowering and enchants the the arctic tundra. Unfortunately, we were a bit to early for that ;-)
